Life Sciences 11 is the study of living organisms and life processes. Life Sciences 11 provides a broad overview of all groups of living things including viruses, bacteria, plants and animals. Life Sciences 11 surveys a sample of organisms and introduces you to a variety of biological concepts and scientific processes including evolution, classification and ecology. Life Sciences 11 does not have a lab component.

Students have one year from registration to complete this self-paced online course and must complete 5% in the first month. Learning takes place through Brightspace lessons, discussions, and email communication, and students can meet their teacher for orientation and learning support at the Coquitlam Learning Opportunity Centre (CLOC), located near Coquitlam Centre.
