Anatomy and Physiology 12 is an overview of human anatomy and physiology from the molecular level to the organ system level. The first part of the course covers cell structure and function. The second part covers basic human anatomy and physiology. The underlying theme of the course is homeostasis – the maintenance of a steady state within the organism. Anatomy and Physiology 12 does not have a lab component. Note: Life Sciences 11 is not a pre-requisite for Anatomy and Physiology 12.
20th Century World History covers the most significant events of the 20th century and develops student's skills as a historian. The course is organized into eight different units covering the years 1919 to 1991, including: the aftermath of the Great War, the Interwar periods in Europe and the United States, World War Two, the Russian Revolution and the development of the USSR, the Cold War, and various events in China, the Middle East, India, and South Africa.

Students have one year from registration to complete this self-paced online course and must complete 5% in the first month. Learning takes place through Brightspace lessons, discussions, and email communication, and students can meet their teacher for orientation and learning support at the Coquitlam Learning Opportunity Centre (CLOC), located near Coquitlam Centre.
