Advanced Band/Beginner Band 6/7/8

Students who register for this course will have instruction in a Beginner band class for half the morning AND an Advanced band class for the other half.  This course is for a student who will be playing two different instruments.  Students in Beginner Band should be essentially brand new to their instrument. Students in Advanced Band should have at least one year of experience with their instrument.
For this course a $50 deposit will be charged at the time or registration. This is non refundable as it covers the cost of the music book and sheet music for both the Beginner and Advanced Band classes..
Instrumental rentals will be available for a fee, sponsored by a local music store.  The summer teacher will email you with details at the end of June.
Instrument options:  Trumpet, Trombone, Baritone Horn, French Horn, Tuba, Flute, Clarinet, Bass Clarinet, Oboe, Alto/Tenor Saxophones, Bassoon, and a limited number of percussion and bass guitars.  In Advanced Band, violin, viola, cello and string bass are additionally available for students with at least one year's experience on one of these instruments. 

If the student will be taking Band this coming school year at their home school, please note that teachers in the regular home school band programs make decisions re: instrument selection based on suitability, program needs and availability.
