The primary goals of English Language Studies 12 are to develop the knowledge and skills required to communicate effectively in writing and to introduce English literature through reading and analyzing short stories, essays, novels, poetry, and drama. 


The recommended succession of courses is as follows:
  • Composition 11, then
  • Composition 12, then
  • English 12
The curricula of these courses build on each other in a designed manner.  It is NOT recommended that students register for any of these courses simultaneously."
