LISW Application Directions
Thank you for your interest in our Learning Inclusion Support Worker Certificate. Now that you have paid your application fee, please submit your application to BCJSapply@sd43.bc.ca .
Email subject should read: LISW application
In the email include your name, learner ID number, the transaction ID number from your Application Fee receipt, and the start date of the program you are applying for, as well as attaching a single PDF containing the following:
Qualified applicants will be contacted for an interview. Applicants who are successful in the interview will be invited to register for the program.
Please note: Program participants will be required to complete an RCMP police information check for the vulnerable sector and a Ministry Criminal Record check, at participant’s cost, prior to attending the practicum portion of this program. More details will come once the program starts.

- Resume (ensure it indicates your work/volunteer experience with school aged children, including the number of hours accumulated)
- 2 reference letters (preferably related to your experience working or volunteering with school aged children.
- A scan of your grade 12 transcript
- Proof of English language proficiency equivalent to Grade 12 English
