
This three-week, 45-hour intensive Marketing Assistant Certificate Program is designed for adult learners who have completed an Administrative Assistant training program or possess a basic understanding of business tools and social media. Through a blend of marketing theory, hands-on training, and a capstone marketing project, participants will develop practical skills to support real-world marketing campaigns and social media initiatives.
By the end of the program, students will be able to understand key marketing concepts including branding, digital and influencer marketing, SEO, and market research. They will gain experience with tools such as Buffer, Canva, Mailchimp, Google Analytics, ChatGPT, and more. Learners will also be introduced to how AI tools can enhance productivity in content creation, campaign management, and data analysis. Each participant will complete and present a fully developed marketing plan and advertising campaign.
Students are encouraged to bring their own laptops for the program. Loaner laptops are available if needed.
Prerequisites: Basic computer skills, ability to use Facebook or Instagram, some experience with graphic editing, and knowledge of Microsoft Word.
