Science for Citizens 11 teaches scientific process and knowledge that inform our decisions and impact our daily lives. Scientific knowledge can be used to develop procedures, techniques, and technologies that have implications for places of employment. Scientific understanding enables humans to respond and adapt to changes locally and globally.

Students have one year from registration to complete this self-paced online course and must complete 5% in the first month. Learning takes place through Brightspace lessons, discussions, and email communication, and students can meet their teacher for orientation and learning support at the Coquitlam Learning Opportunity Centre (CLOC), located near Coquitlam Centre. *Free to students who live in BC and hold an eligible status (under 19 or Adult Non-Graduate). Tuition costs will be eliminated at checkout.
