Homeowners will learn how to build resilient turf and navigate the unique challenges of the changing local climate. We will explore essential landscape management techniques, including core aeration to combat heavy soil compaction, dethatching, and strategic overseeding to fix bare patches. You will also discover how applying lime corrects highly acidic regional soil pH as well as how to utilize organic fertilizers to stimulate strong root growth.

About the Instructor
Catherine Skoro has been a professional horticulturist for over 20 years, currently working at the Vancouver Golf Club as the Head of Horticulture while studying to become part of the Master Gardeners of Vancouver.
