Kwayhquitlum - Visual Arts Grade 6/7/8

Through creative projects and hands-on activities, students will explore a multitude of different art techniques and mediums including drawing/sketching and watercolor painting. Students will gain an understanding of different techniques used by a variety of famous artists and apply them in their own creative way to discover their unique art style. This course will place emphasis on exploring self-identity, fostering creativity, and allowing students to recognize themselves as creative beings.
